Her research focuses on Brazilian and Chinese foreign policy, Brazil–China and China–Latin America relations, BRICS, and Asian Studies.

Danielly Ramos

Director

Associate Professor at the Institute of International Relations, University of Brasília (UnB), where she earned her PhD in International Relations (2007). Antônio Carlos Lessa

Full Professor of International Relations at the University of Brasília (UnB), with a PhD in International History from the same institution (2000). He was a postdoctoral fellow at the Université de Strasbourg (2008–2009) and a Visiting Scholar at the Lemann Institute for Brazilian Studies and CLACS, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (2015–2016). A Level 1C CNPq Research Fellow, he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Revista Brasileira de Política Internacional (RBPI, 2004–2021) and Meridiano 47 – Journal of Global Studies (2000–2021). His research focuses on the international relations of contemporary Brazil.

Bruno Lass

PhD candidate in International Relations at the University of Brasília, vinculated to the Government and Foreign Policy research line. He holds a Master's degree for the same institution. He currently serves as Assistant Editor at Meridiano 47 - Journal of Global Studies. Ana Flávia Granja e Barros

Associate Professor at UnB since 2002, with a PhD from Panthéon-Sorbonne and a postdoc from Aix-Marseille University. She served as UnB’s Head of International Affairs (2008–2014) and is a CNPq and Earth System Governance Network research fellow. Her research centers on global ocean governance, Antarctica, BRICS, the 2030 Agenda, and Brazilian foreign policy.

Carlos Pio

Professor of International Political Economy at UnB with a PhD from IUPERJ. He has been a visiting scholar at Oxford, UC Berkeley, and ANU. Merging academia with public policy, he served as Executive Secretary of CAMEX and held senior advisory roles in the Presidency and the Rio Branco Institute. His research focuses on international political economy and global trade.

Cristina Yumie Aoki Inoue

Associate Professor at UnB since 1997 with a PhD in Sustainable Development. A CNPq Fellow, she was a visiting scholar at Colorado State University and IHDP-UNU in Bonn. Her research investigates global environmental politics—specifically climate and biodiversity governance—as well as international development cooperation, the Amazon, civil society, and transnational networks.

Eduardo Viola

Retired Full Professor at UnB with a PhD from USP and postdoctoral research at the University of Colorado. A Level 1B CNPq Fellow, he was a visiting professor at Stanford, Notre Dame, UT Austin, among others. His extensive research covers globalization, international security, the Anthropocene, climate change, energy geopolitics, the low-carbon transition, and Brazilian foreign policy.

Harolso Ramanzini Jr.

Professor at UnB’s Graduate Program in IR with a PhD from USP and postdoctoral experience at Harvard. A CNPq Fellow and former professor at UFU, he currently serves as Editor-in-Chief of the Revista Brasileira de Política Internacional (RBPI). His research focuses on Brazilian foreign policy, foreign policy analysis, international institutions, regionalism, and South-South cooperation.

Niels Søndergaard

Assistant Professor at UnB's Institute of International Relations, holding a PhD and postdoctoral experience from UnB. He is a Full Researcher at Insper’s Center for Global Agribusiness and an Associate Editor for the RBPI. His research primarily explores international political economy, emphasizing the production, trade, and governance of agriculture and natural resources.

Norma Breda dos Santos

Full Professor at UnB’s Institute of International Relations with a PhD from IHEID, Geneva, and postdoctoral fellowships at USP and Brown University. She previously served as UnB’s Graduate Coordinator and as a board member of the Brazilian International Relations Association. Her research centers on the history of international relations, international law, international organizations, and Brazilian foreign policy.

Rodrigo Pires de Campos

Assistant Professor at UnB with a PhD from Nagoya University and postdoctoral research at Kobe University. He co-founded UnB's Asia and Latin America Research Group. His research investigates international development cooperation, global health diplomacy, new epistemologies in social sciences, and knowledge management in the internationalization of micro and small enterprises.

Vânia Carvalho Pinto

Associate Professor at UnB with a PhD from the University of Hildesheim. A CNPq Fellow, she has held postdoctoral and visiting positions at the University of Coimbra and in the UAE. Her research examines the politics of finance and feminism in Portugal and Sweden, as well as the intersections of gender, status, feminism, and anti-feminism in international politics.

Veronica Korber Gonçalves

Professor of International Relations at UFRGS and UnB, holding a PhD from UnB. She leads the Research Group on International Relations and the Environment (GERIMA) and serves on the editorial board of the Journal of the Global South. Her research specializes in global climate governance and international environmental policy, prominently featuring the Amazon's role in COP30 negotiations.

Rogério de Souza Farias

Professor at UnB’s Graduate Program in IR, holding a PhD from UnB and postdoctoral experience at the University of Chicago. Currently based at IPRI/FUNAG and serving as Associate Editor of the RBPI, he brings extensive public policy experience from various government ministries. His research covers Brazilian foreign policy decision-making, multilateral trade negotiations, and international history.

Thaís Lemos Ribeiro

Holding a PhD in IR from UnB, she has been a civil servant since 2008, working on sustainable development and human rights. A former volunteer lecturer at UnB, she contributed to the Brazilian Panel on Climate Change. She is a member of UnB's Anthropocene research group and the Earth System Governance Project, researching global climate governance.
